We offer self-directed free curricula for people of all ages as well as customized wellness protocols with a range of clinicians available to you by text and tele-technology. Whether you are a student, at home, at work, in a relationship, a member of a family, or at retirement age, we welcome you here.

 

In recent months, COVID-19 has brought physical and mental needs into hyper-focus. You may have worried that you might be deprived of basic needs – food, shelter, safety, and health—for an unknown amount of time. You may have been cut off from friends, family members, colleagues, and community members. You may have experienced emotional trauma or endured a complex and extended bereavement process. Here at Wellness Ahead, we offer extensive mental health resources to front line safety and health care workers, to the vast community of employees who have lost their jobs, to those living alone and navigating this time in solitude, to families who have lost loved ones without the opportunity to say goodbye, to parents and children who are caring for our future generation while working from home, to young adults seeking to complete their education and enter the workforce, and to elders isolated for safety.

 

As a diverse group of practitioners here to support you in this difficult time, we are also committed to addressing the consequences of racial injustice in America. The tragic death of George Floyd has brought to the surface the violence and trauma that people of color and especially black Americans face daily. Whether you are participating in a protest, organizing online, or watching this unfold from home, you may be triggered by personal experience, by violent imagery, or by the exhausted by the labor of activism. On this website, you will find free curricula developed to help you get out negative thought patterns and nurture positive modes of thinking. Through our telehealth portal, you find clinical services, including tele-mental health counseling and coaching and text support.
